What's the goal?

With the Paris climate agreement, the global community committed itself to limiting global warming to +1.5°C or well below 2°C.

Food is responsible for around 30% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

In order to address the impact of our diet on the climate, FOOD2050 calculates for each individual dish how much it potentially contributes to global warming – in °C.
